Life and Rhubarb in the Wakefield Triangle

Having recovered some of his joie de vie he decided to head off 'oop north' to sunny Wakefield to catch up with his lovely chums, Tom, Lucy and Emily (baby).

After a feast of barbequed kidneys on Friday night Tom and he took Emily to a petting farm on Saturday morning. A treat for her, less so for him. Or at least it was until he was immeasurably cheered up by the comedy Llama hair cut.

However its elder brother did not appreciate him pointing and laughing so he sneezed up his cud all over him.

Having bored them to tears with the photos of his travels he was sent packing early doors on Sundays. He set some land speed records on the way back. Clearly he can't wait to get his hands on a new car.

Aberyswyth Mon Amour

He's been off to Aber for a weekend of boozing (or of course not) and catching up with his lovely chums Polly and Dafydd.

After battering his way past every caravan in the Western hemispere pootling along through mid-Wales he finally turned up about 2 hours late and with a right mood on.

Despite their best efforts to cheer him up it was all for naught when he headed out after the party to his tent to discover that it was not really designed for the high winds of West Wales and it had been blown away and had tumbled through the vegetable patch. Obviously this would not have been a problem if it had not be raining. You may infer that it was a problem.

He slept in a puddle of water. A real cheery soul he was Sunday morning.

The Next Life

Well he is settled back in Bristol and back at work again. Despite all expectations and pressure on him to hate being back at work he actually is really enjoying it, shocking.

He is managing to stay off the sauce (mainly) and has at last shed the face moss.

He actually shed the face moss between innings at the Bar against the Law Society cricket match, the look was so different the Bar accused the solicitors of playing 12 men. Personally we can't see it.

He has somehow persuaded your correspondent to keep an ongoing log of his activities.
