Chapter 100 - Shop 'til you Drop

Edmonton is famous for many things (are we shure about that? - ed) but is most famous as the home of the West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in the world.

It is impossible to do justice to this ridicously sized monolith but in an attempt we shall list some of its features:-

An indoor amusement park featuring a huge roller coaster with 3 loop the loops



A full size skating rink
A full size model Galleot (a 3 masted sailing ship from the 1500s)



3 submarines (!)
The largest water park with slides and everything your correspondent has ever seen
Some Flamingos



Lots and lots of shops

And this is all under one roof. Madness.

In Edmonton news their NHL team qualified for the play offs this year (just) and tonight is the first game. Some serious beers are in the offing.
