After originally planning to head off up to Buffalo and Niagara Falls on Friday his plans were thrown into disarray by a dinner invitation from Sarah (someone he met in Washington with Churchy). Well it would be rude to turn that down so again he changed his plans and headed uptown to some faux Irish bar to drink and sup with Sarah and her friends.
Sarah had literally just come from running 10 miles through Central Park and, not to put too fine a point on it, hadn't showered.
Fortunately he was too drunk to notice.
