As it transpires Chris purchased an MGF back in 1997 and took delivery early of a model suspiciously similar to the one ordered by our subject. We leave readers to make their own conclusions about him profiting from other's misfortune.
Fortunately Chris has now met Christine and so full of horror has she been at this clear iniquity that she has been pestering Chris for months to do the decent thing and we are delighted therefore (and not just because it was embarrassing for journalists of our standing to be cadging lifts in a Daewoo Lanos, although it was) that she has finally brow-beaten him down and he has very admirably turned over the car to its real owner.
A decent car at last!

Bogun's Mum would have liked to take exception and say something about the abuse hurled at her trusty Daewoo Lanos but alas she has lost her voice. She can whisper though that she hopes he enjoys his MGF as much as she enjoyed her MGB in years gone by.
This is the first time since 1997 anyone has referred to the MGF at a "decent car", although given Bogun's track record with motor vehicles (the Bogunmobile that was a Vauxhall Kadet or something similar) I suppose we all ought to be grateful.
Decent - provided that you are an outrageously camp male hairdresser who is prepared to ignore both abysmal build quality and reliabilty problems centred around the inability of the head gasket to prevent the mixing of low pressure coolant with high pressure combustion gasses....and who loves the bumming.
